Bricks Need Mortar:

This project is a vehicle to highlight solidarity, kinship, and camaraderie among people of color. Twinning, as a remarkable natural phenomenon, has captivated my attention for many years. I have adopted representations of the double as visual metaphors for community building. Most of these portraits are composed with the help of participants that do not all have biological twin siblings.
